Wow, last weekend was so wonderful! Aside from having a bigger group to share the hotel room with, our(me, ConcentrationMoon, and boneitis)'s work as guinea pigs last year really paid off! We had a better idea of what to bring for artist alley, so that meant the whole group could be more prepared! Plus we all got tables every day of the con. lol Last year all three of us slept in on saturday...blargh!
But anywho, I really wanted to thank everyone who visited our row of tables and talked to us or bought something! In the beginning I was having a lot of trouble deciding how to talk to people who came to my table. Some (it seemed like everybody in the beginning) would just walk away quickly if I said anything to them... but it got better. I even got to meet some really nice people, which didn't happen last year! yay! So "Hi!" and hugs to K17, Zippiner, XY, Sterf, Pig, and Royce!(I don't know all of your deviantart names, sorry) Thanks for being awesome! Thanks also to everyone who bought something or commissioned me!
lol The zoo was a blast, and I kicked myself for not going there last year. It was really cool because boneitis brought some friends from home and Pat played his guitar when we were hanging around the zoo. Plus I got to meet more fursuiters...A couple of lions hung out with us for a long time one night. I think the zoo was the most motivating place I've been to since classes ended for the summer. It's one of those environments where I can work for hours and not realize it or feel too tired. It makes me want to find similar conventions closer to St. Louis, so maybe a hotel and plane ticket wouldn't be necessary. At AC I loved how interested people were in different artist's styles, rather than generally just looking for a specific character. Julie said that's what it was like when she had tables at anime cons. I know if i tried to do artist alley at one of those I would need a reference binder for anime characters...I am not very up to date on those...And I rarely do any fan art...xp
So overall, I'm still really excited; especially about the commissions I have to work on! It seemed like people were generally interested in my work this time, so I'm finally going to write up my commission information. If any of you are looking for a print/ magnet that isn't in my gallery, just let me know. I still have plenty of them, but I haven't uploaded everything from last quarter yet.
Everybody have a great weekend!!!

I don't know. I guess not eating at the con finally caught up with me.
I really really miss AC, but I especially miss the people I met there. :>
How was yours?
Trip home was good. I mostly slept through it. Stress kinda hit me on monday though because I am back at work now...and there's little time to finish a large commission due in august... Blargh!
